Leo von Lemgo is a stunning 3-year-old, 90-100-pound German Shepherd.  His coat is silver and black, and he has the solid, straight back Shepherd admirers love to see. Because of a divorce, he was given up.  His former mom said he looked forward to walks (where he has awesome leash manners), car rides and jogging and hiking outings.  Mostly, however, he likes being with his family.  This housebroken boy will chase balls and play keep-away. He responds to the command “gentle” by carefully taking a treat from your hand and then giving you a wet, sloppy kiss in return. He was good with the 7-year-old in his family but tended to play somewhat roughly with other children, so Leo would need training/supervision in that regard. He has come a long way since arriving at the shelter and now becomes so bubbly and happy when he sees the staff. He loves to cuddle up for some belly rubs and kisses with humans.
